Terms and Conditions
Roofing enquiry service for Telford, Shrewsbury and East Shropshire.
Last updated: 25 September 2026
By using rooferstelford.com or calling the number on it, you agree to these terms. They're written to be read, so please read them.
What We Do
Roofers Telford takes roofing enquiries from homeowners and passes each one to an independent local roofing business. Nobody on our side climbs a roof, no roofer is on our payroll, and no business has appointed us to act for it.
Free to Homeowners
Homeowners pay us nothing, whether they go ahead with a quote or not. Our income comes from introduction fees, which the roofing business may pay. The price for any work comes from that business alone.
No Checks by Us
We don't inspect, approve, accredit or check the roofing businesses that receive our enquiries. Passing your enquiry to a business isn't a recommendation of it. Our guide to choosing a roofer explains the checks you can carry out yourself before agreeing to anything.
Contracts for Work
If you agree to any roofing work, the contract is between you and the roofing business. Roofers Telford isn't a party to that contract and has no say in its terms, price, timing or quality.
Your legal rights over the work are against the business you hire. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a trader must carry out a service with reasonable care and skill, and anything it says about the service can form part of the contract.
Cancelling Work Agreed at Home
If you sign up for work at your home, or anywhere other than the trader's premises, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 usually give you 14 days to change your mind. The trader should tell you about this right in writing. That right doesn't apply where you specifically asked the trader to visit to carry out urgent repairs or maintenance, so it's worth being clear about what you're asking for on an emergency call.
Our Liability
We aren't liable for work done, quotes given, advice offered or delays caused by any roofing business, or for loss that comes from relying on the general information on this site. None of this limits liability that the law says cannot be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Using the Site
Fake enquiries, attempts to gather anyone else's personal data and anything meant to break or slow the site are not allowed. We may stop passing on enquiries that appear to break these terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.
Governing Law
English and Welsh law applies to these terms. A dispute over them would be heard in the courts of England and Wales.
