Accessibility Statement
Roofing enquiry service for Telford, Shrewsbury and East Shropshire.
We want everyone to be able to use this site and send an enquiry, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, text-to-speech software, zoom or high-contrast settings.
What We Aim For
The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:
- plain HTML pages that can be read and used without scripts
- headings in a logical order, so pages make sense when read aloud
- text descriptions on images that carry meaning
- text and button colours checked against the AA contrast ratio
- form fields with visible labels, usable with a keyboard alone
- layouts that reflow on small phones and when text is enlarged up to 200%
Known Limitations
We haven't had the site independently audited, so there may be problems we haven't found. Issues we know about:
- Some cost tables in the guides are wide and need sideways scrolling on a small phone.
- A few photographs have short descriptions that could say more about what they show.
- The call-tracking script may change the phone number after the page loads, which a text-to-speech reader might announce twice.

If something on the site doesn't work for you, please tell us. Email info@rooferstelford.com or call 01952 959192, say which page you were on and what happened, and we'll try to fix it. If you'd rather not use the form, we'll take your roofing enquiry by phone or email instead.
